Cork Hellhounds RFC is an LGBT-inclusive rugby club based in Cork, Ireland. We were established in October 2020 with two aims; to promote rugby among the LGBT community and their allies in the Cork area, and to showcase inclusion in action within the Cork, Munster, and Irish rugby communities.

We currently offer a men’s contact (union) rugby team and a mixed-gender tag rugby team (during tag season, typically April to October). Training is held twice weekly in Cork city, where complete beginners and experienced players are welcome to take part, regardless of sexuality or gender identity.

Cork Hellhounds RFC is ratified by Munster Rugby, and is also a member of International Gay Rugby.

Training

We train twice a week:

We recommend bringing a water bottle to training, and if you have them, rugby boots and a mouthguard for contact training. To cover the pitch rental and club costs, we ask non-members for a voluntary donation of €5 for each session (payable by cash or via Revolut) however first-time visitors are welcome free of charge.

To start training with the Cork Hellhounds, or if you have any questions, email hello@corkhellhounds.ie or send a message via Facebook or Instagram.
