Cork Hellhounds RFC is an LGBT-inclusive rugby club based in Cork, Ireland. We were established in October 2020 with two aims; to promote rugby among the LGBT community and their allies in the Cork area, and to showcase inclusion in action within the Cork, Munster, and Irish rugby communities.

We currently offer a men’s contact (union) rugby team and a mixed-gender tag rugby team (during tag season, typically April to October). Training is held twice weekly in Cork city, where complete beginners and experienced players are welcome to take part, regardless of sexuality or gender identity.

Cork Hellhounds RFC is ratified by Munster Rugby & the IRFU, and is also a member of International Gay Rugby.

Panel 1

Saturday: 18 November: Cork Hellhounds VS Emerald Warriors
@ The High School, Dublin | KO: 3pm

We currently offer a men’s rugby union team, and a mixed-gender team for tag rugby during summer months.

We recommend bringing a water bottle to training, and rugby boots if you have them (although first-timers are not expected to have boots, trainers are fine).

To cover the pitch rental and club costs, we ask non-members for a voluntary donation of €5 for each session (payable by cash or via Revolut) however first-time visitors are welcome free of charge.

To start training with the Cork Hellhounds, or if you have any questions, email or send us a message via Facebook or Instagram.

Men’s Rugby Union (Contact/Full Rugby)

Tag Rugby (Mixed Gender)

Our tag rugby season is now over for this calendar year. We’ll return to the Cork Tag Rugby league in Spring 2024.
